All dinners will now be eaten in the hall, with only two classes being allowed in at any one time. This inevitably means that some classes (the older ones) will be eating later than they are used to doing. Because of this it would help children if they bring a snack with them for morning playtime to help them last the morning.
Each class will have a 30 minute slot in the hall to eat their lunch – please encourage your children to be able to eat a meal in this length of time.
For children who usually have a school lunch we have planned for the kitchen staff to return gradually to providing a cooked meal over the first few weeks of the term. This will allow the kitchen staff to ensure that their procedures are safe and practical and give time for them to make adjustments if this is necessary. The timetable is set out below:
