School opens at 8.45 a.m. each morning and children should be in school for the start of the school day at 8.55 a.m. when the gates close. Lessons finish at 3.30 p.m. each day, after which children children collect their belongings and walk to their respective gate.

Excluding lunchtimes, this equates to the following number of hours in a typical week for each key stage:

Early Years (Reception class) – 25 hours 25 minutes

Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) – 26 hours 40 minutes

Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) – 27 hours 55 minutes
