Hollins Grundy Events Group

 
 

Hollins Grundy Events Group are a group of volunteers, both parents and school staff, who raise funds for the children at Hollins Grundy Primary school in a variety of ways. There is a mix of social occasions, competitions and other fund-raising events when parents, staff and children join together to raise money which is all spent on the children. All the staff who help with Hollins Grundy Events are volunteers and contribute their time to make magical memories and raise funds for the children.

The group is made up of parents and school staff who care about the education that we deliver in our school. We would not be able to function at the level we do without your input and help.

We regularly pay for gifts of books for our Year 6 leavers to give them a good start at high school. We also subsidise the transport costs of the theatre trips for all children because we want all children to have  the opportunity to see inspiring live theatre shows. Additionally, we have also paid for outdoor play equipment so that playtime and lunchtime are as exciting as possible.

In the past we have raised about £4500 each year through our events but this year we are aiming high and trying to reach the £6000 mark. If we all pull together there should be no stopping us.
