I hope that everyone has enjoyed a good summer holiday and is refreshed and raring to go for the start of the new school year.

For children in Years 1 to Year 6 term starts on Tuesday 5th September at the usual time. The gates will be open from 8.45 to 8.55 a.m. For children starting in Reception class there is a phased induction throughout the week and you have all been given your individual time slots.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all again.

On a separate subject, you may have read that a large number of schools have been instructed by the Department for Education not to open due to safety concerns. The concern is centred on the safety of Reinforced Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (RAAC) which is found in the fabric of some public buildings. I am happy to confirm that our school does not contain RAAC and we will be opening as usual, as described above.
