World Book Day is on Thursday 2nd March this year. We’ll be celebrating the power of books and reading by wearing favourite character costumes and indulging in book based activities throughout the day.
Children can wear costumes based on characters from their favourite books, perhaps home made during the half-term break, maybe from a shop.
Also, we will have a book exchange on the day. Children can bring a book that they have enjoyed and wish to pass on to someone else to enjoy. Good quality books only please; no rips, scribbles or missing pages! They can exchange the book for a token then exchange the token for a book someone else has donated.
Thank you.
