As many of you are already aware we are trialling an app called Class Dojo with the aim of improving communication between school and home. The first step for parents is to download the app – it’s free. The aim is that Class Dojo will replace the text system we use in school as we won’t have a restrictive character limit and we’ll easily be able to share images and documents which we currently can’t do using the text system. When we are confident that everything is working effectively we will let you know that the text system will stop.

Class Dojo has several features and we won’t be using all of them. Class emails will still be used as the way to communicate in writing with teachers, please don’t use the messaging facility in Class Dojo, teachers will not respond.

The link between parents and Class Dojo is through parental email addresses. If you haven’t yet shared you email address with school could you pass it to the school office please.
