Due to the variable weather forecast and the fact that the field is very wet and uneven, to the point that it will be potentially  unsafe to run on we are changing the sports day programme.

Sports Day will still take place this Wednesday (19th June) but will now take place on the bottom playground. The restricted space will mean that the day will have two halves; the morning for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, the afternoon for Years 3 to 6. Parents and other family members are still welcome to come and watch, and access to the school yard will be through the gate to the bottom yard, not through the main school entrance.

The programme will be as follows:

9.20 – Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 children parade onto the bottom playground.

9.30 – 4 class events in a 15 minute rotation.

10.30 – Toilet break

10.45 – Running events on the playground (including parents & toddler)

11.45 – Finish

1.30 – Years 3 – 6 parade onto the bottom playground

1.35 – 4 class events in a 15 minute rotation

2.40 – Running events on the playground (including parents & toddler)

3.30 – Finish
