World Book Day is on Thursday 3rd March this year. This is a really good opportunity to celebrate books, stories, poetry and a love of reading.

Following the success of last year when we asked children to come in a t-shirt decorated with a quote from their favourite book we are going to do the same again.

Please could children come to school with a plain t-shirt (any colour) which they have decorated with a quote or quotes from their favourite author. They may like to draw or paint direct onto the t-shirt or draw or paint on paper or card and pin or stick this to the t-shirt.

Also, children could bring a copy of their favourite book to school to share with their friends.
